There are a number of ways to reach the Annapolis Royal Historic Gardens. Below are the most common ways to find us. If you want to see the locator map for general reference, follow the link at the bottom of the page or click here to view it right away.

If you are arriving from the Yarmouth ferry, simply get on highway #101 and travel about 140 km, or 1.5 hours. Take the Annapolis Royal exit (exit 22). Turn right and follow route 8 for about 8 km and you will drive right to the Gardens on St. George Street (on your left).

If you are arriving from the Digby ferry, get on highway #101 east and travel about 35 km, or 20 to 30 minutes to exit 22, the Annapolis Royal exit. Turn right and follow route 8 into Annapolis Royal and you can't miss us on your left.

If you are coming from Halifax, travelling on highway #101 west, simply take exit 22. Follow route 8 into Annapolis Royal. Or, if you are traveling on highway #1 to Annapolis Royal, once you arrive at the stop lights, simply take a left, and the Gardens are on your right.

If you are coming from the South Shore, you can either take route 8, which will take you directly into Annapolis Royal, and to the Gardens, or you can take route 10 to Middleton, then follow highway #101 or #1 to Annapolis Royal, turn left at the lights, and we are on your right.
